When diving into the story of the Kennewick Man it starts with the two teens who changed history. When using evidence you find to prove a point in science or history facts that are confirmed to be true are extremely important to gain support. This story showed me how unpredictable it can be when you are making new discoveries, as the origin of “The Ancient One” was debated over for over 20 years! As new evidence appeared scientists came to the most logical conclusion they could with the current facts, with the latest showing that DNA evidence linked the Kennewick man to the Native American Tribes in the area. Although we are eager to study and learn from him, it only seems right that his people give him the peace in the afterlife that he deserves.
Although a conclusion has seem to have been made, as technology improves more discoveries will be made to uncover even more of the past, and hopefully putting more closer on this subject. I would like to know have other people been found anywhere near this time period as well? Close to the find site of the Kennewick Man? Can we match the Kennewick man with anyone else found throughout history?
